UNICEF USA Thoughts

Thoughts on UNICEF USA

What strikes me about UNICEF is the sheer scale of its reach — almost every country in the world, decade after decade. It's easy for an organization that size to feel abstract, but the whole point of that reach is that no child is too far away or too politically inconvenient to matter.

I also appreciate that UNICEF leans on proven, unglamorous interventions: vaccines, clean water, basic nutrition. It's not flashy work, but it's the kind of steady infrastructure that keeps a crisis from becoming a catastrophe, which feels especially fitting to support during a season built around generosity.
